Pig Island Beer Soap

I know that I shouldn’t have favourites but if I did then this bar would be a contender.

Now why, I hear you ask, would I make soap out of beer and no ordinary beer at that but the rather lovely Pig Island Pale Ale made by Charles at the Ards Brewing Company? Well, all that lovely vitamin B rich beer produces the most wonderful bubbles ever so if you like bubbles, this is the bar for you. 

 Scented with zesty lime essential oil balanced with just a hint of warm patchouli, it’s a wonderfully refreshing and stimulating blend.

In case you are curious, Pig Island sits here in Barr’s Bay and how it got its name remains a mystery to me, it isn’t big enough to accommodate a herd of pigs!
